Steps:

Backup: Before upgrading, create a backup of your entire Machinechat JEDI application folder. This includes all configuration settings and any stored data.

Download: Visit the Machinechat website and download the latest version of Machinechat JEDI for your operating system.

Stop JEDI (if running): If JEDI is currently running, stop the application process. To quit JEDI using
jedi-cli
enter the commandquit

Replace Executable: Replace the existing
mcjedi.exe
(for Windows) ormcjedi.bin
(for macOS/Linux) file with the newly downloaded version. -
Restart JEDI: Start the Machinechat JEDI application. Your existing data and settings will be preserved.
