Pre-Configure and Share Machinechat JEDI

JEDI provides a convenient way for users to pre-configure dashboards, rules, actions, and notifications, and then share the entire folder with another team or individual. This allows the recipient to avoid the hassle of setting up everything from scratch.

Sharing the Application and Configuration

To share the application and configuration database, follow these steps:

  1. Pre-configure the desired dashboards, rules, actions, and notifications within JEDI.

  2. Once the configuration is complete, navigate to the "License" section within JEDI's settings.

  3. Click on "Delete Users and License" to remove the users and license key associated with the current machine.

  1. After deleting the users and license key, package the application and configuration database into a folder.

  2. Share the folder with the intended recipient or team.

By following these steps, the recipient can simply import the shared folder into their own JEDI installation, eliminating the need to set up everything again.

Important

Remember, since a single license of JEDI can only be used on the machine it was activated on, it's important to delete the users and license key before sharing the application and configuration database.
